This beautifully restored Martello Tower is also participating in Heritage Week. http://www.photopol.com/martello/no7.html It was restored by Niall O'Donoghue between 2004 and 2008 and is the only one of its kind in these islands to be restored to such a degree.

It is located on Killiney Hill Road, at the junction with Killiney Avenue, and is open to the public daily during this week.

Well worth a visit.
