Póló’s letter from Santa Claus proves that that old fraud is a closet imperialist! The modern image of Santa Claus in red suit etc was, in fact, an invention of the Coca-Cola company – so the imperialism theme in Póló’s letter is perhaps not inappropriate. I suppose Santa might defend himself by claiming that his imperialism is simply “the snowman’s burden”. Bah, humbug! Have a lovely Christmas.

@ Pol: That letter is genius! I have always wondered what I could do to become one of the An Post employees who answers Christmas letters. I’d probably spend far too much time on it, though.
